The situation is as good as it gets. it gets 用简单现在式，即系讲常理／事实／定律，as good as 即一样咁好，全句就系「现况同佢可以达到o既（最佳）情况一样咁好」。即系话好到呢个地步，已经唔可以更好。 如：We can't save the dog's leg. It has to be amputated but at least it's alive. I guess it's as good as it gets. 唔驶死，夫复何求呢？ 但又可以：This is a wonderful party. It is as good as it gets. 个派对好到不能再好，意思又开心好多。 As good as it gets 像它的一样得到 As good as it gets~ if a situation is as good as it gets it is not going to improve: Eg:Enjoy yourself while you can.
